GEO has developed a rigorous process for gathering information
and data at the regional level based on information sharing
and analysis in consultation with partners and stakeholders.
GEO Collaborating Centres have regional mandates that are
at the core of the GEO process. They engage regional stakeholders
and provide scientific inputs to the assessment process such
as scenario development, capacity building and data. Sub-regional
Collaborating Centres research, write and review major parts
of each report.
