Are you getting the most out of your compost? Two problems common to all composting ventures are sufficient moisture content and temperature. Make sure your bin has adequate warmth for high levels of bacterial activity by using black recycled plastic bins that hold high temperatures by absorbing radiant heat from the sun. During the cold season, you could cover your bin with an insulation jacket and in warm weather; keep your bin shaded to avoid drying out.
