“The IUCN Academy of Environmental Law is a global network dedicated to advancing knowledge of how law promotes a just society that values and conserves nature."
The Academy’s program consists of (1) an annual conference or colloquium where scholars can critically review a distinct aspect of environmental law and reflect on new concepts to improve the law in that area; (2) major research initiatives designed to advance environmental law, (3) support for capacity-building - particularly in developing countries and countries with economies in transition - to assist universities to teach environmental law.”
