The workshop was attended by government officials and enforcement officials from various institutions at the national, provincial and local authority levels who are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental law in Zimbabwe. The objective was to inform the participants of the contemporary regulatory mechanisms in environmental law and ways of strengthening the legal and institutional framework for environmental management of Zimbabwe. The workshop also aimed at developing skills for enhancing access to justice in environmental matters.
