1. Preparation and execution of needs assessment missions to project countries (Jan-October 2001)

2. Review of existing environmental laws and development of a national strategy for the implementation of the framework environmental laws in the seven project countries (March 2001- June 2002)

3. Development of selected sectoral laws and implementing regulations in seven project countries (Sept. 2001-2003)

4. Training courses in environmental law for judiciary, lawyers, Parliamentarians, civil society, women, environmental inspectors, police and general prosecutors (Sept. 2001-2004)
