World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on June 5 to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. Environment being vital part of our life, do you think we should celebrate Environment Day only once in a year? Yes the answer is “No” everyday should be celebrated as Environment Day and this is the mantra adopted by Essar Oil Limited, Jamnagar this year. We believe that Environment is a cup of tea for each individual. Thus, we engaged all the age groups in this initiative. Ladies who represent the integrity of any nation participated with zeal and enthusiasm in Quiz Contest organized for improving their awareness regarding Environment. Experience is the best teacher and our experienced senior citizens participated joyfully in the awareness session as well as quiz that was organized on 14th June’2014. Keeping the theme “Raise your voice not the Sea level” in our mind, Coastal Cleaning Activity was organized at Narara Bet located at the creek of Arabian Sea. As a race against Global warming nearby communities were involved in tree plantation activity organized at the coast of Arabian Sea.
