On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Environment Online Programme will celebrate by planting trees, playing their self-made wooden musical instruments and flying kites. This will be organized at ENO schools in 75 countries. Groups are invited to register their tree planting event and join the celebrations. These activities will also mark the end of the school year 2005-06.

To celebrate and promote World Environment Day, WEL, World Elder Land has teamed up with the UNEP with the hope of inspiring and helping as many elder communities as possible to actively participate in the betterment of our planet earth and environment. This is a people's event and a community project that promotes better ways toward environmental issues, whole-person living, to ensure all people enjoy a safer better present and future life.
