Our projects and activities are implemented under three programmatic areas:
Assessment and Management of Environmental Pollution (AMEP)
Our Pollution (AMEP) programme supports countries in the Wider Caribbean to implement the following agreements: Protocol Concerning Co-operation in Combating Oil Spills (Oil Spills Protocol) and the Protocol Concerning Pollution from Land-based Sources and Activities (LBS Protocol).
Specially Protected Areas and Wildlife (SPAW)
A regional agreement for the protection and sustainable use of coastal and marine biodiversity in the Wider Caribbean Region. Our SPAW programme supports countries to implement their national obligations under the SPAW Protocol.
Communication, Education, Training and Awareness (CETA)
Our main areas of focus are: (1) Education and Awareness and (2) Training. This is supported by our presence on social media and the development of several promotional and outreach products.
