WIDECAST Sea Turtle Recovery Action Plan for Antigua and Barbuda.

This document presents the Sea Turtle Recovery Action Plan for Antigua and Barbuda, which proposes a five-year national Sea Turtle Conservation Programme. This plan seeks to (1) to obtain comprehensive and accurate data on the distribution of turtle nesting and foraging habitat and (2) to promote the conservation and recovery of remaining sea turtle stocks. This plan suggests Antigua and Barbuda support international initiatives such as ratifying the SPAW Protocol to the UNEP Cartagena Convention.

WIDECAST Sea Turtle Recovery Action Plan for the British Virgin Islands.

This document presents the Sea Turtle Recovery Action Plan for the British Virgin Islands. The plan reviews a wide variety of solutions to stresses on sea turtles and includes a variety of recommendations ranging from environmental law enforcement to the passage of a strong Coast Conservation Management Act; as well as raised public awareness and the designation of protected coastal areas.

WIDECAST Sea Turtle Recovery Action Plan for Barbados.

This document presents the Sea Turtle Recovery Plan for Barbados which supports the improvement of conservation legislation, law enforcement, coastal zone management, field research and public awareness campaigns. The Plan recommends Barbados to support multinational efforts aimed at the conservation and recovery of marine species such as sea turtles, by ratifying the Cartagena Protocol concerning Specially Protected Areas and Wildlife (SPAW Protocol).

This document presents the Sea Turtle Recovery Plan for the Netherland Antilles. It summarizes the status of sea turtles and recommends solutions contemporary stresses they face. These recommendations include the drafting of regulatory guidelines, greater law enforcement and enhanced public awareness.
