The UN Environment Programme would like to invite you to the launch of a brand-new online course, titled Bringing Nature Into National Adaptation Planning

The launch will take place online on Thursday 7 November 2024. There are two time slots to choose from:

The first global stocktake called on countries to have in place their national adaptation plans, policies and planning processes by 2025 and to have progressed in implementing them by 2030.

The WUF was established in 2001 by the United Nations to examine one of the most pressing issues facing the world today: rapid urbanisation and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change and policies. The first WUF was held in Nairobi, Kenya in 2002 and has been held around the world ever since.

The UNFCCC- Climate Action and Support Transparency Training (CASTT) Adaptation Academy in Asia 2024 is now accepting registrations for the week-long international training programme on the adaptation reporting aspects of the enhanced transparency framework of the Paris Agreement.
