Alphonse Mutabazi is a home-based Consultant for Climate Change Enabling Activities
He supports the climate change enabling activities programme in monitoring of Africa French speaking countries-based projects that include national communications, biennial update reports and upcoming Biennial Transparency reports to UNFCCC. His support covers the whole project cycle including review of Project Implementation Plans (PIPs), progress/financial reports, thematic/sectoral reports, and full compiled reports.
Before joining UNEP, he worked for 10 years in Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA) as Program Manager in charge of climate change adaptation and mitigation projects. He was also an international consultant for GHG inventory, Mitigation assessment, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change.
Mr. Alphonse Mutabazi is a Rwanda national and holds a MSc. in Meteorological modeling and forecasting.
