Ana Celeste supports the Global Environment Facility (GEF) portfolio of Climate Change Mitigation projects, especially projects and programs of Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing mainly on transparency, e-mobility and energy efficiency projects throughout the region.
Ana Celeste has five years of experience in management, planning and project execution. Prior to joining UNEP in 2021 in her current position, Ana Celeste worked for the Ministry of Habitat and in the Ministry of the Environment of the Argentine Nation as regional coordinator for several National programs on issues related to vulnerable habitats, access to safe land, housing, safe water, efficient waste management, efficient technologies, innovation, sustainable ecosystems, sustainable production, and social and human development.
Ana Celeste is from Argentina and holds a Master (M.Sc.) degree in Habitat and social poverty and a graduated degree in Direction and Management of social organizations.
