Ayda has over 5 years of experience working on the intersection of science-policy and environmental project management.
During her time with the Climate Services and Capacity Building unit, she has coordinated the development and implementation of over 20 projects funded by a range of adaptation funds including GCF, GEF, UN SDG Fund, EC, etc. Working on a range of issues including environmental data, knowledge management, implementation of adaptation solutions in policy-making and planning.
Ayda is a national of Colombia and graduated from the University of Lund, Sweden with a master's degree in International Development and Management, she has a particular interest in upscaling coordination between local level to national climate adaptation efforts, alongside experience working in conflict-affected areas in Colombia, and Myanmar.
