Jiya supports the Global Portfolio with the design and implementation of GEF and GCF climate mitigation projects. She has worked on sustainable cities projects, electric mobility as well as GEF integrated programmes.
Before joining UNEP, Jiya completed her master’s degree in International Governance and Diplomacy. She speaks English, Hindi and French. Outside of work, she enjoys music, cinema and going on hikes.
