Natalie is an environmental engineer with over 15 years of experience in conservation, spatial analysis, Integrated Water Resources Management, and project design and implementation. She has extensive experience working with cooperation agencies, indigenous and rural communities, in multidisciplinary teams and with the public sector.
Since she joined UNEP in 2021, Natalie has been actively supporting the formulation and implementation of GEF International Waters projects, with a particular focus on Latin America, the Caribbean, and global initiatives.
Natalie holds a Master of Science in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation, specializing in Environmental System Analysis and Management, from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. She is passionate about nature, tending to her orchard on the slopes of the hill, engaging in activities such as hiking and yoga, exploring new destinations through travel, and interacting with different cultures.
