GEF Risk Management Specialist


Biography

Natalie works together with the team to reduce the Portfolio risk.   

She is responsible for enhancing the risk management framework for GEF mitigation projects, implementing strategies to assess, visualize, and to support informed decision-making to reduce portfolio risk.  

Natalie has more than 15 years of experience in conservation, climate change, Integrated Water Resources Management, and project design and implementation. Before joining the Unit, she worked as a GEF Task Manager in the UNEP International Waters team.  

Natalie lives in Bolivia, holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and a MSc in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation from the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
