Renato provides financial and administrative support in the management of UNEP’s portfolio of GEF mitigation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing mainly on transparency, e-mobility and energy efficiency projects throughout the region.
Renato has 16 years of previous experience in finance and corporate development. Prior to joining UNEP, he worked for a large Brazilian conglomerate and two global consulting firms. Renato has lived in Brazil, United States and Panama.
Renato is Brazilian and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in Brazil, a MBA in the U.S. and a Master of Science in International Affairs in Panama.
