Roy is a Finance and Budget Assistant at the GEF Coordination Office in Policy and Programme Division.
He has extensive knowledge and experience in Finance and Budget, with over 10 years experience in both the private sector and the UN. He has worked with the United Nations for over 7 years. Before joining UNEP, GEF Coordination unit he was a Finance and Budget Assistant at United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) BFMS Unit for 5 years. He has experience in Grants Management, Budget, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, Project Closures, Adjustments and Donor Reporting. He has strong analytical skills and good with numbers.
Roy is a Kenyan and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Finance major and a Masters Degree (MBA) in Strategic Management from The University of Nairobi.
