Suzanne oversees the development and implementation of UNEP’s projects which support developing countries meet their reporting obligation under the UN Framework Convention on Climate change.
Her portfolio comprises of projects in eighty-five developing countries – in form of National Communications; Biennial Update Reports; and, more recently, supporting countries to transition to the Biennial Transparency Reports under the Paris Agreement. Suzanne has more than 14 years’ experience in environmental research, conservation and climate change. Before joining UNEP in Yr. 2010, she worked at the National Environment Management Authority, Kenya and had a short stint working as a consultant at the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) promoting wildlife management and community conservation around the Amboseli, Kenya.
Suzanne is a national of Kenya and holds degrees in Forestry, Biodiversity Conservation and Conservation Leadership
