Conferences of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions

The sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention (BC COP-16), and the eleventh meetings of the Parties respectively to the Rotterdam (RC COP-11) and the Stockholm Conventions (SC COP-11) took place back-to-back from 1 to 12 May 2023, at the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland.

This year’s COPs theme was “Accelerating action: Targets for the sound management of chemicals and waste”, featuring various side events on joint issue.
