The Global Environment Facility (GEF) funded project, Eliminating Mercury Skin Lightening Products is implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and co-executed by The World Health Organization (WHO) and Biodiversity Research Institute (BRI) with technical support by the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership.
The project aims to reduce the risk of exposure to mercury-added skin lightening products. The meeting brings together key project's stakeholders that work in the area of mercury-added skin lightening products, including governments, international organizations, and NGOs, to identify opportunities to work together in the implementation of the project.
