Mercury in products Partnership Area - 2021 Meeting

The Mercury in products Area of the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership held its annual meeting on Wednesday 7 July. Participants discussed the following points:

• Annual update on Partnership Area overarching activities and new partners
• “Draft guidance document on the use of customs codes under the Minamata Convention" prepared for the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention:
• Organization of online information-sharing sessions by the Partnership Area, possibly on mercury-containing lamps and dental amalgam
• Updates by partners on ongoing work related to mercury in products
