The Global Mercury Partnership, Mercury Air Transport and Fate Partnership Area, and the Secretariat of the Minamata Convention, together with the International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant and the Geneva Environment Network co-organized a webinar on “Multimedia modelling of global mercury movement” as part of Minamata Online Sessions.
The objective of this event was to highlight interactions and linkages between the scientific community and international policy on the opportunities that multimedia modelling covering air, water, biota and humans provides for assessing the state of the environment and the effectiveness of the Minamata Convention.

This weekly digital series, aimed at better understanding the Convention's provisions, as well as policy and scientific aspects, will be held weekly until 1 December. Attendance is free for each session.
