WEBINAR - ASGM and National Action Plans in the LAC region: lessons learned, tools and implementation

Webinar for the Spanish speaking countries in Latin America and Caribbean region.

The webinar presented the global status and progress made on NAP development and reviewed the available tools and assistance from the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership and others. Honduras and Ecuador shared the challenges that national teams have encountered during NAP development process or related projects (e.g. planetGOLD). Finally, participants shared their experiences and discussed possible solutions, including with respect to the future NAP implementation and sector transformation.

The webinar was conducted in Spanish, for the LAC region, and was attended by 211 participants.

El webinar presentó el estado mundial y el progreso realizado en el desarrollo de PAN, y revisó las herramientas disponibles y la asistencia de la Asociación y otros actores. Honduras y Ecuador compartieron los desafíos que los equipos nacionales han encontrado durante el proceso de desarrollo del PAN o proyectos relacionados (por ejemplo, planetGOLD). Finalmente, los participantes compartieron sus experiencias y discutieron soluciones, incluyendo la futura implementación de los PAN y la transformación del sector.
