Mercury waste management Partnership Area - November 2020 Meeting

The Mercury waste management Area of the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership held its annual meeting on 27 November 2020.

Amongst others, this meeting was an opportunity to review ongoing activities within the Partnership Area and consider future priorities; to discuss the identification of technologies and services provided by partners, the challenges faced by countries in the management of mercury waste as well as opportunities for matchmaking. Participants were invited to explore possible collaboration with other Partnership Areas and contribution to ongoing consultations under the Global Mercury Partnership and to exchange views on the development of the Partnership Area’s future activity plan.
