The document includes the approach and position of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of the Republic regarding the use and control of mercury in dental amalgams. It seeks to contribute to the dissemination, training and implementation of lines of work that make oral health and mercury control compatible, following the international agreements assumed at the national level, within the framework of the implementation actions of the Minamata Convention.
