The webinar on mercury-containing medical devices organised on 13 October 2020 by the Products Partnership Area had an attendance of over 100 participants. With a focus on sphygmomanometers and thermometers, the event shared information, guidance and knowledge, discussed challenges encountered in the phase out as well as best practices towards sustainable replacement.
The overall goal of the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership is to protect human health and the environment from the releases of mercury.
