Nineteenth Intergovernmental Meeting of the Northwest Pacific Action Plan

The 19th IGM decided to consider at the 20th IGM the implementation of the NOWPAP Medium-term Strategy 2012-2017. Financial Rules and Procedures for the NOWPAP Funds were adopted by correspondence after the meeting. The Member States also agreed to have a second extraordinary IGM in the first quarter of 2015 in Korea.
Implementation of NOWPAP contributes to the Global Programme of Action for the Protection of the Marine Environment from Land-based Activities (GPA) in the Northwest Pacific region.
