This document outlines the NOWPAP Regional Oil and HNS Spill Contingency Plan, the purpose of which is to provide a framework under which NOWPAP Members may co-operate at the operational level in responding to oil and HNS spill incidents.
Implementation of NOWPAP contributes to the Global Programme of Action for the Protection of the Marine Environment from Land-based Activities (GPA) in the Northwest Pacific region.
