This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Invited experts of GIZ Proklima and Embraco North America present standards on refrigerant specification, the climate relevance of the commercial refrigerant sector, the new charge limits for flammable refrigerants in commercial equipment and other standards related flammable refrigerants, standards on the competence of personnel and GIZ Proklima’s “Fit for Green Cooling” approach to qualification, certification and registration of RAC technicians. Beside the invited experts, participants include Article 5 and associated CEIT countries, bilateral partners and partner agencies. The agenda items include:
