Joint West Asia and Europe and Central Asia Network Meeting of Ozone Officers

This meeting will bring together National Ozone Officers from Europe & Central Asia and West Asia regions to share experiences and good practices as well as the latest technical and policy developments under the Montreal Protocol, particularly following the entry into force of the Kigali Amendment. It will also provide an opportunity for them to discuss strategies and approaches in implementing Kigali Implementation Plan (KIP) preparation, as well as to identify challenges associated with achieving HCFCs' phaseout targets, and the needed technical and policy support to ensure country compliance with Montreal Protocol obligations.
