This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). During the first part of the meeting, UNDP and Guidehouse will present their recently approved project on cooling efficiency in the context of the Kigali Amendment.
This meeting is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) in cooperation with the Pacific Island Countries' Network. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's CAP provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.
This virtual network meeting aims to update the latest development of policy and technical aspects under the Montreal Protocol at the global level, exchange ideas on how to keep delivering the approved activities under Multilateral Fund during COVID-19 pandemic, review the CAP services provided to countries as well as ongoing/planned regional activities and hear the needs of countries.
