Thematic Meeting on Implementation of the Regional HCFC Phase-out Management Plan Stage II for 12 Pacific Island Countries – Australia Regio...

The meeting aims to (i) launch the implementation of the Australia – Regional Component and to introduce the Air-conditioning Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturers Association of Australia (AREMA), as an implementation partner, to the PICs and (ii) discuss implementation modality and work plan to obtain feedback from the PICs for finalization and to further seek support from the PICs during implementation.

As a result of this meeting, participants are expected to get a better understanding of the implementation modality, detailed activities and workplan under the Australia – Regional Component, as well as roles and responsibilities of countries and AREMA.
