Science, policy, and technology form the foundation of a knowledge society. Since 1991, the information clearinghouse of UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) has been assisting developing countries in making informed decisions by providing quality-reviewed, need-based information services on technology support and capacity building.
OzonAction has developed a ‘Products and Tools’ service to assist National Ozone Units NOUs) and other stakeholders in governments and industry in building their capacity to implement the Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment sustainably while also achieving climate benefits. This catalogue showcases a variety of OzonAction resources, namely publications, training manuals and guides, factsheets, briefs, quick tools, newsletters and bulletins, online courses, and other awareness materials. It provides a structured and thematic way of presenting the wealth of resources that CAP developed over the years to respond to the needs expressed by NOUs and to facilitate the implementation of projects and activities under the Montreal Protocol and Kigali Amendment.
Collective learning and dissemination are essential for protecting the ozone layer and mitigating climate change. We encourage NOUs to use and share the catalogue with national stakeholders and to provide feedback on their experiences with using OzonAction materials.
