The main challenge in Mauritius is to convey to micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises that there are economically viable opportunities to switch to products and services based on social and environmental norms. The national institution guiding programme implementation in Mauritius is the Ministry of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change.
The SWITCH Africa Green programme is developed and funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme and European Union Delegations in the participating countries.
