Ms. Letícia Carvalho, Head of the Marine and Fresh Water Branch at the Ecosystem Division of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) will speak at the 2020 edition of the Forum Mondial de la Mer, which will take place on the 15th July 2020. Mr Malek Smaoui, Programme manager and Officer-in-Charge of UNEP/MAP Regional Activity Centre REMPEC will speak on the theme of accidental marine pollution at the third parallel workshop (Atelier 3) on a “clean, healthy and resilient Mediterranean” at 10h35 – 11H35 (GMT+1).
An important question—What about the sea, in the world that comes after?—is the theme chosen for the 2020 edition of the forum chaired by Mr. Pascal Lamy, President of the mission Healthy Ocean from the European Commission.
