Atlas of Environmental Change - Kyrgyz Republic

The Atlas of Environmental Change for the Kyrgyz Republic has been developed using global, regional and national datasets, spanning six decades using both historical information and the latest satellite technology. It provides detailed information on the environment focusing on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, progress towards the three Rio Conventions and SDG 6 and SDG 15. The information contained within the Atlas can assist the Kyrgyz Republic in monitoring the environment and reporting to Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs), as well as national state of environment reporting. It also provides a solid evidence base for policy and decision-makers to manage the environment in a sustainable manner.
