• Overview

Climate Action Day is an interactive event that brings together students and teachers from across the globe who are taking action to combat climate change. It is the culmination of the Climate Action Project, a six-week global project involving 2.7 million students from 146 countries. Participants will showcase solutions and best practices to tackle local and global environmental challenges. In support of the commemoration of UNEP@50, the event will also highlight the important role young people play in the future of environmental science, policy, and multilateralism. 

The event will be stream live at the Blue Zone of COP26 in Glasgow, UK, and for global audiences on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Organized by TakeAction Global, in partnership with the Earthshot Prize, WWF, and Cartoon Network.
