The Sixth Meeting of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) of the Protocol Concerning Pollution from Land-Based Sources and Activities in the Wider Caribbean will convene 1st February 2023 - 3rd February 2023.  

The Tenth Meeting of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) to the Protocol Concerning Specially Protected Areas and Wildlife (SPAW) in the Wider Caribbean will convene from 30th January 2023 - 1st February 2023.  

The Ninth Meeting of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) to the Protocol Concerning Specially Protected Areas and Wildlife (SPAW) in the Wider Caribbean is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021. Due to the continued spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, UNEP Cartagena Convention Secretariat will host this meeting virtually.

The Fifth Meeting of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) of the Protocol Concerning Pollution from Land-Based Sources and Activities in the Wider Caribbean is scheduled March 15-17, 2021. The Eighth Meeting of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) to the Protocol Concerning Specially Protected Areas and Wildlife (SPAW) in the Wider Caribbean Region will be held in Panama on 5 -7 December, 2018.  This meeting proposes to review the achievements of the SPAW sub-programme during 2017- 2018 and to develop the workplan of SPAW for the 2019-2020 biennium.
