Mrs. Jhenelle Barrett Cohen has a passion for learning and development with an innate love for the natural sciences. Her experiences in Project Management have allowed her to execute projects and programmes that focused heavily on climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts in vulnerable communities. Jhenelle has coordinated capacity building and resilience training to target groups most affected by the impacts of climate change and natural disasters. She currently serves as the Programme Management Assistant for the Assessment & Management of Environmental Pollution (AMEP) Programme.
CEP was established in 1981 as part of the Regional Seas Programme in recognition of the importance and value of the Wider Caribbean Region’s fragile and vulnerable coastal and marine ecosystems including endemic plants and animals.
