The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Coordinating Body on the Seas of East Asia (COBSEA) partnered with UN-Habitat under the SEA circular project to apply the Waste Wise CitiesTool (WaCT) and Waste Flow Diagram (WFD) in South-East Asia.

This document provides Regional Guidance on Harmonized National Marine Litter Monitoring Programmes to strengthen and harmonize marine litter monitoring efforts toward preventing and reducing marine litter and its impacts, in line with the COBSEA Regional Action Plan on Marine Litter (RAP MALI).
