‘Adapting to climate change one conversation at a time’
On Tuesday 12th October, the UN Environment Programme’s Global Adaptation Network published a brand-new podcast to explore the best solutions and cutting-edge technologies for adapting to climate change.
In Resilience: The Global Adaptation Podcast, each episode showcases stories from people all over the world who are adapting to climate change in practical, creative and innovative ways.
The first episode, which explores how efforts in adaptation saves the lives of millions of people, can be found here. You can also find the podcast on Spotify, Google, Apple, and Amazon.
In Resilience, the listener will learn about the green engineering feat of creating sponge cities that absorb floods and stay cool during heatwaves; how to transform our food system to become climate resilient; architectural solutions like floating cities; the use of mass reforestation to hold back the deserts, and much more.
Over six weeks a new episode will come out every Tuesday morning on a different theme, and you can find the full programme here.
