UNEP works worldwide, with our headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya – making us one of only two UN programmes headquartered in the developing world. We have regional offices in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, and West Asia, and 12 sub-regional and programme offices globally.
Together with the GEF we have implemented projects in more than 160 countries. Our current GEF-supported portfolio includes over 400 projects around the globe.
