Project Summary
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the hazardous waste management system in Burkina Faso with the view to developing institutional capacity for chemicals and hazardous waste management and strengthening the operational capacities of national stakeholders in hazardous waste management.
Project Objectives
This will be carried out through the achievement of the following objectives:
- Strengthening the institutional and regulatory framework for hazardous waste management
- Strengthening the technical and administrative framework for hazardous waste management
- Strengthening the knowledge base within Burkina Faso on hazardous waste.
