The North American Regional Office, located in Washington, D.C., works with all stakeholders in Canada and the United States to spur action to address the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste; and to advance sustainable development throughout the region.

UNEP’s New York Office is a devoted bridge builder, specialized in establishing and maintaining critical links with the UN Secretariat, UN organizations and entities headquartered in New York, Permanent Missions to the UN, civil society organizations, academic institutions and others.
