Perspectivas del Medio Ambiente Mundial 6

La sexta edición de Perspectivas del Medio Ambiente Mundial del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA) fue publicada en 2019, en el marco de la Cuarta Asamblea de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente, UNEA-4.

Este informe insignia del PNUMA evalúa desde la ciencia la salud ambiental del planeta  y hace un llamado a los responsables de la toma de decisiones para que aborden de inmediato los apremiantes problemas ambientales a los que nos enfrentamos, con el fin de lograr los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible establecidos en la Agenda 2030, entre otros objetivos ambientales acordados internacionalmente, como aquellos que figuran en el Acuerdo de París.

GEO-6: Healthy Planet, Healthy People

The sixth Global Environment Outlook, or GEO-6, is the world’s most comprehensive environmental report, covering a range of topics, issues and potential solutions. At present, the world is not on track to meet the Sustainable Development Goals. UNEP's GEO-6 calls for policy interventions that address entire systems in order to lead to healthy lives for all people.
