The 8th Africa Animal Welfare Conference will be held under the theme: Partnership actions to improve animal welfare for environmental sustainability. The annual conference which is co-hosted by Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW) in collaboration with United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), African Union InterAfrican Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR) and the Kenyan Government will be held at the UN Complex in Gigiri, Nairobi, Kenya from 30 September to 2 October 2024.
The year’s conference ones again, will bring together professionals and practitioners, coming together to discuss issues that cut across animal welfare, wildlife and environmental conservation.
