The event is taking place as part of the NAP Expo 2024.
This event at the NAP Expo 2024 aims to highlight the intrinsic synergies Iof the climate change and disaster risk reduction agenda, contributing to a more unified and effective approach to addressing global challenges. The event will culminate in a compilation of key recommendations to assist countries, especially Least Developed Countries, in integrating and synergizing adaptation and disaster risk reduction (DRR) through national and subnational planning instruments.
At the national level, encouragement of synergies between National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and DRR plans, coupled with the promotion of integrated plans, has been pivotal. Several countries have now successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach.

- What role can organizations play to scale up ambition to ensure an integrated approach, aligned with financial resources and connected with the planning of development?
