Objectives

• To raise awareness on the current environmental situation and the role of education sector on cultivating environmental mindsets among children.
• To facilitate a platform where all sectors can come together to improve environmental education for sustainable development in Thailand.
• To develop a set of policy recommendations to be submitted to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and to be inputs for developing a capacity building proposal.

Expected Outcome

• Policy recommendation to reform Thai environmental education system to be proposed the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
• Guidelines for building awareness of teachers and building collaboration between schools, parents and community in order to move in the same direction.
