UNEP/MAP Barcelona Convention, Cartagena Convention, COBSEA and Black Sea Commission joined the 23rd Annual Large Marine Ecosystems (LME23) Consultative Meeting which was organized by GEF IW:LEARN during 4-6 June 2024 at UNESCO HQs in Paris.
The meeting brought together more than 60 leading partners and experts in marine science, coastal management, biodiversity conservation, and climate change adaptation. The overarching goal was to foster collaboration and share knowledge to improve the management of large marine ecosystems (LMEs), in support of effective ocean governance.
