The AMR Science-Policy Forum co-hosted by the GLG, and the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) took place on Friday, 11 April 2025 from 15:00 to 18:30 on the sidelines of the ESCMID Global conference in Vienna.
The theme of the event is “UNGA Political Declaration on AMR: Moving from Commitments to Action”, and the event featured presentations and panel discussions on how science can inform policy to implement UNGA targets on AMR, as well as the establishment of the Independent Panel on Evidence for Action on AMR and the update of the Global Action Plan on AMR in 2025.
